The Polar M400 sport watch is a stylish new addition to the Polar mid-range HRM line up, featuring integrated GPS and the H7 Bluetooth Smart Heart Rate Sensor.
Highly Tuned Athletes currently have the M400 Black in stock. The M400 White will be due in store on the 14th of November. Both will be available to purchase with HRM $299.00 or without HRM at $249.00.
We see the M400 as an upgrade to the previously very popular RS300 running watch. Apart from integrated GPS for pace, speed, elevation and distance, the M400 features an inbuilt accelerometer with daily activity tracking and inactivity alert. Between recharging, the M400 will give 8 hrs of GPS usage with HR recording, 24 days as a watch with activity tracking, and is also water resistant to 30 metres.
The M400 will easily upload to the Polar Flow web service, either via USB cable or the Bluetooth Smart Phone integration App. Features will also be easily updated in future due to planned firmware releases.
From our testing, this unit will be a great everyday performer and will provide some stiff competition to very popular Garmin FR220.
